Give contacts access to the 1040 Tax Organizer
You can enable the 1040 Tax Organizer for a contact associated with a particular client. The contact must already be registered for Client Center before you set up access to the 1040 Tax Organizer. The contact must also have a relationship as a client’s preferred contact, spouse, or tax matters contact in order to access the 1040 Tax Organizer.
To enable access, follow these steps.
- Choose Setup > All Contacts and click Edit next to the name of the contact.
- Click the Client Center Access tab.
- Click the Enable 1040 Tax Organizer switch. If you don't see this switch, you can't activate the 1040 Tax Organizer for the contact. You may be prompted to select a client to connect to this contact.
- Click Save.
