Rename items in the Documents area
You can rename files, folders and subfolders in the Documents screen.
Rename a document or top-level folder
- Mark the checkbox next to the document or top-level folder you'd like to rename.
- Select Manage, then Properties.
- Make changes and select Save.
Rename a subfolder
- Mark the checkbox next to the subfolder you'd like to rename.
- Select Manage, then Rename.
- Make changes and select Rename.
Client contacts with appropriate permissions can rename items in shared folders.
Note: When you rename files that have been uploaded to multiple folders, you’ll need to rename the files in each folder.
